Know the North
The participants of Know the North believe that education and advocacy is the key to preserving our remote Canadian wilderness. Their aim is to bring their experiences home in order to educate and inspire the next generation of Canadians to become active participants in preserving our natural environments. CPAWS is thrilled to be a supporting partner in this exciting canoe expedition
Their adventure takes them through remote stretches of Saskatchewan, Nunavut, the Northwest Territories and Manitoba. including through the Seal River watershed. Partnering with CPAWS Manitoba, the group is helping to showcase our Seal River campaign through the collection of video and images to help translate the importance of this area to our audiences.
Follow the journey on the Know the North webpage Facebook and Instagram pages and stay tuned for information about a CPAWS sponsored presentation by the team after their return.
