Occurring in the United Nations International Year of Fresh Water, Boreal Rendezvous is being organized with First Nations colleagues and involves high profile Canadians in all events, such as Rick Mercer, Justin Trudeau, Cathy Jones, Tomson Highway, Sarah Harmer, Silken Laumann, Tom Cochrane, Jimmy Rankin, and many more.
This will be the first year of an ongoing awareness effort that will continue to grow in the future. Our goal is to make Boreal Rendezvous 2003 a wonderful celebration that will engage as many Canadians as possible. This year’s campaign culminates in Ottawa on September 5, 2003 with a Grand National celebration featuring Gord Downie.
