Your Voice Needed Now to Protect Manitoba’s Provincial Parks From Logging and Mining!

Manitoba is one of the few places on earth that allows large-scale industrial activities in some of our most treasured provincial parks.

Our parks should be safe havens for recreation, for rejuvenation, and for securing the homes of beloved wildlife species such as caribou, moose, and a wide array of wetland and song birds.

The good news is that Manitoba’s government has put forth a proposal to protect 170 square kilometers of wilderness in Turtle Mountain provincial park and an area in Duck Mountain provincial park that contains very rare species such as the Dragon’s Mouth Orchid.

Please use this handy form by May 25, 2018 to tell Premier Brian Pallister and the Minister responsible for our parks, Rochelle Squires, to make sure this proposal is passed into law.
