Little Limestone Lake, the world’s largest colour-changing marl lake, lies northwest of Lake Winnipeg within the traditional territory of Mosakahiken Cree Nation.

CPAWS Manitoba camped at the lake with 11 students and educators from Frontier Mosakahiken School to learn and share knowledge during the Little Limestone Lake Youth Stewardship Initiative from September 18-22, 2017.

This video explores the experience:

Thanks to our sponsors MEC, The Gosling Foundation, The Blennerhasset Foundation, Small Change Fund and The Youth in Philanthropy initiative of The Winnipeg Foundation and Assiniboine Credit Union for making this once-in-a-lifetime trip a reality.
