2024 Workshop Feedback

Interested in joining CPAWS Manitoba workshops for the first time? Not sure what to expect? Here’s some feedback from Nature Club participants in 2024.

“Love the way that you are promoting getting outdoors and connecting with nature for people of all ability levels”-Nature Club Participant, 2024

“CPAWS offers a variety of programming to connect people to nature who are less likely to feel comfortable in the out of doors. Gentle hikes near and in town, paddle nights near the downtown with canoes provided, and activities such as nature photography and journaling as well as gentle yoga in nature. The activities are free or inexpensive and led by amazing facilitators”-Nature Club Participant, 2024

“Carly and Avery are lovely, kindred spirits and they are the perfect ambassadors of reviving the connection of humans to the earth as organic beings”-Nature club Participant, Forest Bathing, 2024

“I absolutely loved this workshop.  Carly Gray is a wonderful facilitator that makes everyone feel welcome and valued.  She listens to people’s ideas and really elevates everyone’s enthusiasm for learning.  Her knowledge about local tree and plant species is only surpassed by her knowledge of how to make an event fun, interesting, and the spark of making you want to learn more, more, more!  I had a great time!”-Nature Club Participant, Dr. Yvonne Vizina, 2024

“Our facilitator made all the difference to the tree identification workshop;  her enthusiasm and joy at being in nature was infectious!  At the same time , she shared her personal and profound understanding of the relationship between us and trees. I loved it!”-Nature Club Participant, 2024

Forest Bathing, Aug 2022.
