Environmental Education Assistant

Do you like kids? Are you passionate about conservation and connecting people to nature?

We are seeking energetic and inspiring Environmental Education Assistants to support our Outdoor Education Program this summer.

The position would be ideal for university or college students studying education or early childhood education who are looking for experience – and mentorship – working with children.

You will work in a team of two to deliver workshops at daycares camps at different locations in the Winnipeg area throughout the summer. 

This is a full-time summer position with compensation of $16 per hour. 

Work will begin on June 17 with a week of training and continue through mid to late August. 

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of this position is to enthusiastically and competently deliver outdoor education programming at daycares and day camps in Winnipeg and surrounding areas.
