Occurring in the United Nations International Year of Fresh Water, Boreal Rendezvous is being organized with First Nations colleagues and involves high profile Canadians in all events, such as Rick Mercer, Justin Trudeau, Cathy Jones, Tomson Highway, Sarah Harmer, Silken Laumann, Tom Cochrane, Jimmy Rankin, and many more.

On April 29, Conservation Minister Steve Ashton announced the creation of Manitoba's newest provincial park, South Atikaki. This is welcome news for Manitobans who care about and enjoy our parks.
