Interested in getting involved with parks and wilderness issues in Manitoba? We offer volunteer opportunities in a variety of areas, whether you are seeking a long-term position or prefer a more casual commitment. Some of our needs include:

Volunteer opportunities

    Administrative assistance

    Our chapter occasionally requires assistance with filing, newspaper monitoring and clipping, newsletter production and distribution, and other office tasks.

    Clipboard campaigners

    We are seeking outgoing individuals to encourage citizens to voice their support for wilderness and wildlife protection. Clipboard campaigners set out to high-traffic public areas to inform about CPAWS initiatives and inspire people to send letters of support to political decision makers.

    Research and writing

    We are currently seeking conservation-minded people to occasionally take part in research and writing tasks. If you are interested please call 949-0782.

    Display booths

    Enjoy speaking with people? Consider assisting with our display booths on an occasional basis.

    Committee members

    Fund Development - If fundraising is your specialty, this is the committee for you. We are looking for new ideas and concepts as well as help on existing campaigns.

    Board members

    The Board of Directors is responsible for defining the overall vision of the chapter and setting conservation, organizational, and financial goals.
